In 2007, André left Malta to play professional football abroad, a career spanning 13 years. He has played professionally across 8 different countries (Germany, Austria, Hungary, Greece, Cyprus, Portugal and India). Some of the well known leagues André played in include the Portuguese Primeira Liga and the German second Bundesliga. Ferencvárosi TC and Boavista FC are some of the prestigious clubs André had the pleasure of representing, including numerous appearances in the Europa League on behalf of Apollon Limassol FC. André had the proud honour of representing his country on 94 occasions.
